Module 1 cont
Crosses cut and torn from purple paper attached to A3 sheet of gold/yellow paper. I like the effect you get when tearing rather than cutting!
Module 1
A variety of papers including brown paper, newspaper, tissue, cartridge and water colour paper. All painted with Brusho inks.
Different papers took the colour very differently. The crinkled up brown paper and paper that had cling film on the top whilst drying were particularly effective.
More coloured papers.
Line drawings of crosses in sketchbook.
More line drawings of crosses.
More line drawings plus samples of coloured papers with details.
Colour wheel painted with guache. The guache was easier to work with than brusho.
Selection of papers printed with stamp made of sticky back sponge.
Acrylic paint used to make marks.
Pictures and rubbings. Placed on paper so that some can be removed for composite sheet.
